About VAIANA
We named our private hospital after a Polynesian word-Vaiana-that originally means “spring water”. For Polynesians, spring water is evocative of softness, a feeling we would like to convey through a warm and attentive welcome in order to provide care under control so that our guests may feel at ease.
Feeling at ease will allow them to find satisfaction in both health and medical aesthetic treatment. Prior to the treatment, a diagnosis will be first assessed and discussed with a professional member of staff specialized in both health and medical aesthetic care.
In this regard, the team shall create a peaceful relationship of mutual trust in order to provide high quality care living up to the guests’ expectation.

Professional profile
Stellio Tehina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. In 2008, he started his professional career in Tahiti, French Polynesia in the health network in general surgery. He then continued in the emergency room and intensive care unit before flying to the turquoise waters of the remote islands. After five years of practice in his native country, he decided to continue his profession in France in the Paris area, where he discovered new practices in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Curious and looking for new challenges, he pursued his passion in Switzerland in the Canton de Vaud where he discovered new knowledge but above all, remarkable experiences giving him a formidable expertise in health care. Always in search of new practices, he decided to pursue his career in Canada in the province of Quebec, where he learned more from his colleagues.
Wanting to expand his field of practice with a desire to evolve, he chose to specialize in medical aesthetic care. He then obtained the medical accreditation in neuromodulator injection (botox/dysport) and filler products (hyaluronic acid), giving him the title of Clinician Nurse Injector.
Today, he wishes to pursue his passion by offering health and medical aesthetic care using a confident, attentive but above all, emphatic approach.

How to receive our medical and aesthetic treatments
First a dedicated nurse will meet you. The consultation is supposed to allow the nurse to assess your needs and to give you necessary information prior to receiving neuromodulator or filler injections.
During the consultation, a medical file will be created and guests will have the opportunity to share their worries and ask questions regarding the injections. It will be our pleasure to answer all your questions.
Afterwards, the medical director will see you in order to make sure you understood perfectly all the information you were given by the nurse before receiving the first medical aesthetic treatment. During that second consultation, do not hesitate to share your expectation regarding the injections. The medical director will also be able to provide any further information on the nature of the neuromodulator and filler injections should you feel the need to know more about them.
Lastly, a follow-up will be implemented after the medical aesthetic treatment. Guests will be given an appointment in order to check on their medical condition. The first appointment will occur right after the first injections. The second appointment will occur two weeks later. Then guests will consult again within 3 to 6 months afterwards depending on the situation. The ultimate appointment will occur 12 months after the very first treatment in order to receive new neuromodulator injections. As for the hyaluronic acid injections, the follow-up will be done within the 12 or 24 following months.
